Hi! I'm Sheri Schofield. Do you ever struggle with explaining grown-up concepts to the children in your lives? I've been teaching and writing for kids for the past 40 years, and most of my work - all but one book - is for them. Let me share with you the secrets I've learned about reaching a child's heart! Below are some fun things I've developed to help you become a great teacher for your own children or grandchildren!
The Prince and the Plan begins by telling your child who God is, that he created the world, how we became separated from him, and what he is doing through Jesus to bring us back to himself. The Colorado Christian Writers' Conference named me "2018 Author of the Year" because of this book. Plus, ASWA (Advanced Writers & Speakers Association) a group of over 500 Christian women authors and speakers, gave this book Second Place in Best Children's Books For 2018!
Campfire Devotions with Montana Gramma is a place you can take your children in imagination. Gathered around the campfire, Montana Gramma will tell them a Montana-style story that will encourage them to follow Jesus and his ways.
Faithwind 4 Kids is my ministry blog. Here I share ideas about how to help children grow spiritually, projects I'm doing, and a few personal events along the way. As a contributing author to Arise Daily Devotions, I also occasionally share links to my articles at www.arisedailydevos.com.
One Step Ahead of the Devil is currently in the process of becoming a faith-based movie. Using the pen name S. M. Hausen, I have shared a deeply personal event that happened to our family, an event that involved the Pentagon, Congress, National Security, and the President of the United States. The story first broke in a Gannett News Services paper in 1997 then was broadcast in 1998 on ABC's 20/20. I recommend it for adults only because of the serious nature of the book.
